Sorry Ladies!

Well I'm now a married man and it ROCKS! The wedding on Saturday was awesome! The day started off with a great time at the gun range. My Glock broke, which I've never seen or heard of happening, but the day was fun none the less. I got to shoot two special guns that I've never shot before, an AK-47 and an M-1 Garrand from WWII. Both were sweet to shoot and I really enjoyed myself. My Grandmother, on Dad's side, fixed a huge spread of Ribs and other BBQ for all of the family for lunch, and I gorged myself! :) Then it was off to the wedding! I had to pick up a drum for Patrick to play when I played my song for Beth and then I was there. The place was decorated by her mom's reunion group and looked awesome. Patrick and I practiced the song I wrote for her before the wedding. It went really well and she loved it. She was and still is the prettiest woman I've ever seen! I have to admit to almost crying when I saw her in her dress comming to me. It is a memory that will stick with me for the rest of my life. The wedding was great and the reception was fun too. God really blessed us with the people that we desired to be there and a great group of friends. Patrick was the greatest Best Man that I could have asked for. He made sure I had every thing that I needed and followed me around to make sure I was where I was supposed to be. Patrick as far as friends go is tops in my book! We had a great time at the reception and then we changed and left. But oh no, the story isn't finished yet. As we were leaving I of course being the gentleman opened her door for her and that was when it happened. Patrick, who until then had done great, My brother, who I knew would be invloved soem how, and My cousin Nathan, what a wild a crazy guy, proceded to shower me with not one, or two, but three 5lb. bags of raw grits. I think that I still have 1/2 a pound in my car right now! It's amazing where those little things can end up. You might be thinking right now, he must have been mad, well I wasn't. It's a family traditionthat's been going on for years in my family. My Dad and a few others I know got it too. So we got in the car, grits and all, and went back to the house for the rest of the night. Man God is way better to us than we deserve.
