Getting back in the groove.

Well I thought since I have the time that I'd put up a new post today. Things have been quite busy. Beth and I have been settling in at the house and trying to get through all of the stuff that we've aquired over the last 3 weeks. Married life is great! We just had Mercy Me and Audio Adrenaline in town and man did they rock the house. I grew up listening to Audio A and hear how Mark is struggling to sing now makes me sad. He's developed pollups on his vocal chords and as a result has had to make this his last tour. Both groups are some of the nicest guys you'll ever meet. You'd never know that Bart has written 3 songs that have gone Platinum and has enough money from writing "I can only imagine" that he could retire right now. Just cool guys. MM was also very tight musically and vocally.
Speaking of music stuff I just got some money from birthday gifts, I do love my new in-laws :), and I went amp hunting. I have never owned my own electric guitar amp, so i was an interesting process. After playing a few and looking at a bunch online I decided to go with a Line 6 Spider III. I bought it on Friday and it's should be here sometime tomorrow or Wednesday. I'm like a little kid waiting on Christmas to come. I can't stand it. It looks like I'm going to have to make room in the spare bed room, aka the guitar store annex, for my new amp. I can't wait to plug in my Epiphone Les Paul and jam away.
